Job Summary: Internship opportunity for students of Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or Biology to support macroscopic examination, paraffin embedding, equipment maintenance, and paraffin block sectioning. Key Highlights: 1. Support in macroscopic examination of biopsies and macroscopic description 2. Tissue embedding in paraffin and histological cassette processing 3. Assistance in equipment maintenance and department routine **Your responsibilities will include:** * Providing support in macroscopic examination of small biopsies and macroscopic description, with minimal complexity; * Loading all biopsies and/or specimens into the tissue processor for paraffin embedding, performing tissue embedding in paraffin and histological cassette processing; * Assisting with equipment maintenance, supply replenishment, cleaning, reagent replacement, and other tasks according to department routine; * Sorting materials by macroscopist under supervision of the immediate supervisor; * Assisting macroscopists in opening bottles and containers; * Sectioning paraffin blocks using the microtome; * Preparing control blocks and slides for special stains. **Requirements:** * Currently enrolled in the first year or later of a Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or Biology program. **What we offer:** * Stipend * Life insurance * Gympass * Workplace gymnastics * Birthday gift * Corporate University * Transportation allowance **General Information:** * **Working hours:** 12:00 PM to 6:15 PM (Monday to Friday \- 15-minute daily break); * **Contract type:** Internship; * **Work location:** DB Patologia \- Av.
