Cultural Coordinator

Description

The General Coordination is responsible for managing all services provided at the cultural space in São Paulo, ensuring coordination among teams, schedules, technical and administrative requirements. Service must be provided from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with possible adjustments to working hours to meet the unit’s specific needs. In exceptional circumstances, service may begin before 9:00 a.m. or extend beyond 10:00 p.m., depending on demand. The team must include at least one qualified professional to perform this role. For the position of General Coordinator, a postgraduate certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) is required in at least one of the following knowledge areas: Humanities, Applied Social Sciences, Linguistics, Literature, or Arts. Additionally, a minimum of two years’ experience in management, coordination, or supervision of teams is required, documented by a technical certificate and employment record. As an additional requirement, the candidate must present at least one of the following: A professional qualification certificate issued by a cultural facility where the candidate performed managerial, coordination, or team supervision functions; A professional qualification certificate issued by a service-providing company, verifying performance of the same functions under a contract linked to a cultural facility; certificates of completion of cultural management courses totaling a minimum of 90 (ninety) classroom hours; or an undergraduate or postgraduate degree recognized by MEC in the fields of visual arts, theater, dance, cinema, music, events, communication, or literature. Required competencies include coordination and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, work organization and scheduling, personnel management and selection, procurement of goods and contracting of services, technical proficiency in administration, agility, initiative, and focus.
