Job Summary: The Import Assistant will be responsible for supporting import processes, from international freight quotation to order tracking and financial reporting. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in import and foreign trade processes. 2. Responsibility for international freight quotation and product customs classification. 3. Support in follow-up of international orders and cost reporting. **IMPORT ASSISTANT** Location: Messejana, Fortaleza/CE **Requirements:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree; * Experience in the field; * Foreign trade courses are desirable; * Basic technical English; * Proficiency in Excel; * Knowledge of customs procedures and legislation. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct international freight quotations by contacting suppliers, evaluating delivery timelines, costs, and other factors, and submitting proposals for review and approval by the immediate manager, aiming to expedite product receipt; * Contribute to the customs classification of vonixx products by assessing the appropriateness of tax treatment per product, ensuring accurate tax collection and payment; * Contact and coordinate with local carriers for cargo pickup and delivery at the factory, as previously agreed with the supplier; * Request currency update upon cargo arrival, perform necessary verifications, and instruct the customs broker to pay the carrier and submit the receipt declaration to the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (RFB); * Prepare purchase order reports based on purchase orders from international suppliers, carefully verifying quantities and specifications of requested items to ensure fulfillment of demand; * Prepare reports containing information on costs associated with the import process to support financial reporting; * Provide support in follow-up of international purchase orders, monitoring delivery deadlines and promptly alerting the immediate manager to any potential bottlenecks in order fulfillment.
