**Responsibilities** * **Equipment operation:** Load, unload, and transport goods, pallets, and other materials using forklifts and similar equipment. * **Inventory organization and control:** Organize materials in the yard, optimizing space and ensuring order to facilitate truck and equipment movement. * **Cargo handling:** Ensure loads are properly centered and stacked, and follow packaging and product protection guidelines for transportation. * **Maintenance and safety:** Perform basic inspections of equipment before use, request maintenance and refueling when necessary, and report any irregularities or damages. * **Quality control:** Identify and report damaged items, missing products, or quality issues, and ensure material integrity during transportation and storage. * **Record keeping and documentation:** Maintain accurate inventory activity records, verify manifests and shipping documents, and use inventory tracking equipment. * **Compliance with procedures:** Follow company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures, including the use of PPE and adherence to internal traffic rules. * **Workflow management:** Analyze production schedules to ensure timely transportation of materials and products, and support management in reconciling physical inventory records.
