




Job Summary: This Utilities Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining utility equipment and production lines, using digital data to optimize performance and applying TPM, CDM, NBPM, and NBPF concepts. Application of TPM, CDM, NBPM, and NBPF concepts **Utilities Operator** **Purpose of the Position** In this role, you will perform operational activities and preventive, corrective, and improvement-related maintenance tasks for the Utilities department and production line equipment. Using digital tools, you will analyze data to ensure proper operation of utility/refrigeration equipment while fully applying TPM, CDM, NBPM, and NBPF concepts. You will directly or indirectly participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing technical information relevant to your area of expertise or assigned responsibility. **Your Day-to-Day...**• Operate steam generators; conduct relevant analyses on steam generators (pH, total hardness, silica, sulfite, chloride, iron, and alkalinity); operate valves and flow controls; monitor water level, steam temperature, and pressure indicators; analyze combustion gases (carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and oxygen) to supply steam meeting process requirements; verify natural gas supply and water tanks, checking replenishment parameters visually or via instruments;• Operate the Effluent Treatment Station (ETP), managing valves and flow controls; monitoring water level, temperature, and pH indicators; performing laboratory analyses for OG, COD, BOD, ammoniacal nitrogen, biological agents (sludge), and any other required tests; • Perform checklists on Utility Central Plants (Hot Water, CAGs \- Chilled Water Plants No. 0/1/2/3/6; Compressed Air Plant) according to the area’s QMS and their Preventive Maintenance schedules; utilize online-connected digital tools to investigate and implement predictive actions when necessary; * **What Will Contribute to Your Success?** * Technical Course in Mechanical Engineering; * NR 13 certification for Boilers and Refrigeration (desirable); * Experience in utilities operation / ETP (desirable)
