**POSITION SUMMARY**

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities...**
* Produce and distribute hot water to meet 100% of production requirements.
* Operate the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
* Produce and distribute treated water and industrial water through the Water Treatment Station.
* Monitor and oversee the operation/generation of chilled water for air-conditioned areas.
* Periodically monitor treated water and fire reserve tank levels.
* Monitor and oversee the operation of air-conditioned cold rooms; monitor and operate cooling towers to recover all discharged water.
* Perform laboratory analyses of treated water, boiler water, and chilled water.
* Conduct daily activities based on maintenance concepts and execute maintenance plans related to the Utilities Department.
* Operate the colored water evaporation plant (EVAC II) to ensure solid concentration, reducing effluent volume sent to composting and combustion in the Bremer boiler.
* Monitor firewood and wood chips to ensure optimal efficiency for steam generation.
* Operate the coffee pulp press plant; operate hot-air furnaces and smoke burners to ensure optimal efficiency per operational parameters.
* Operate and monitor artesian wells; monitor LPG, CO2, nitrogen, natural gas, and diesel fuel gases.

Academic Qualifications
* Required: Completed High School
* Preferred: Technical Course in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering
