INDUSTRIAL BUYER (Sorocaba \- SP) Area of Operation: Industrial / Procurement Compensation: R$ 7\.000,00 (PJ contract) Benefits: Transportation Allowance, On-site Meal, and Basic Food Basket Working Hours: **Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM** Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Only candidates from Sorocaba \- SP will be considered **Desired Profile:** ✔ Stable, responsible, and committed professional ✔ Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Analyst, or Supply Chain professional ✔ Experience in an industrial environment (metalworking, boiler-making, or mechanical manufacturing) ✔ Knowledge of materials such as: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, fasteners, and welding consumables ✔ Experience in contracting third-party services (machining, cutting, bending, painting, galvanizing, etc.) ✔ Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost reduction ✔ Experience in supplier development and management ✔ Experience in production demand-driven procurement ✔ Organized, dynamic, and with a strong sense of urgency ✔ Knowledge of technical drawing reading and interpretation is a plus. **Main Responsibilities:** * Procure raw materials, supplies, and services according to production demand * Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and commercial terms * Develop and qualify suppliers * Ensure timely factory supply * Track purchase orders and deliveries * Support the estimation department with quotations * Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement * Resolve issues related to delays and supply shortages * Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and warehouse departments.
