Our **Senior DBA** plays an essential role in configuring, monitoring, and optimizing database instances on AWS, such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and others. Apply now—we want to meet you! **Responsibilities and duties** * Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS database instances, such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and others. * Install, configure, and parameterize databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Monitor database instance performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize performance. * Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability of stored database data. * Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity and data protection. * Maintain scripts and stored procedures to automate routine tasks and ensure data consistency. * Manage database scalability according to growing demand, using features such as auto-scaling and dynamic provisioning. * Collaborate closely with other IT teams to integrate databases into other applications and systems. * Provide technical support and resolve database-related issues to ensure continuous system availability. * Execute procedures and create/update documents in the knowledge base. * Create new environments, perform migrations, upgrades, and apply patches. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree. * Ability to work effectively in teams and strong interpersonal communication skills. * Advanced knowledge of at least two DBMSs (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Knowledge of AWS Cloud. * **Advanced English** **Additional information** **BENEFITS** On-site or remote work Flexible working hours Educational incentives (partnerships with educational institutions) Paid vacation TotalPass Birthday off Medical assistance Dental assistance Maternity leave Paternity leave AWS certification reimbursement Who we are We are **Darede**: a technology company with an innovative soul, driven by people and guided by the purpose of transforming businesses, careers, and stories through technology.
