And this is only the beginning. ### **About the role:** We are seeking a **Senior Data Scientist** to work on a high-impact global project, developing analytical solutions and predictive models that support strategic decisions and drive data-driven innovation. We seek a **hands-on** professional with strong analytical skills and proven experience building Machine Learning models in production environments. This role will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and **proficiency in English** is essential for communication. ### **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** * Develop, train, validate, and deploy Machine Learning models to solve business problems. * Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities. * Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to generate insights and predictions. * Manipulate and prepare large volumes of structured and unstructured data. * Design and run experiments, validate hypotheses, and measure outcomes of deployed models. * Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure efficient data availability and consumption. * Build dashboards and monitor KPIs using **Looker**, supporting result communication across diverse audiences. * Document models, experiments, and analytical processes to ensure reproducibility and adherence to best practices. * Present results and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders. ### **Requirements and qualifications:** * Solid experience as a **Senior Data Scientist**. * Advanced proficiency in **Python** for data analysis and model development. * Proficiency in **SQL**. * Experience with Machine Learning libraries such as **Scikit-learn**, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. * Knowledge of applied statistics, predictive modeling, and Machine Learning algorithms. * Experience analyzing and processing large-scale datasets. * Experience with **BigQuery**. * Hands-on experience in **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** environments. * Experience with **Looker** for data exploration and dashboard development. * Familiarity with code versioning (Git). * Ability to clearly communicate analytical results to both technical and executive audiences. * Analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset. * **Proficient English** (oral and written communication for international collaboration). ### **Nice-to-have (but not required):** * Experience with **Vertex AI**, BigQuery ML, or other GCP Machine Learning solutions. * Knowledge of MLOps and ML model training/deployment pipelines. * Experience with experimentation and A/B testing. * Exposure to global projects and multicultural teams. ### **What’s it like to work at Skopia?** Here, you’ll find an environment where Results, Pragmatism, Commitment, Authority, and Performance guide everyday work.
