The Procurement team identifies, researches, and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards for price, quality, timing, and supply reliability. Recognizes and evaluates sales and promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses suppliers’ products to ensure compliance with specifications and adherence to the organization’s quality standards.

Leading & executing sourcing strategy/negotiation for Direct/Indirect Material at Whirlpool.
**Your responsibilities will include**
--------------------------------------
* Lead & develop a detailed strategic approach to manage Strategic Sourcing for Direct Material;
* Accountable for developing & executing a Category Sourcing Strategy plan;
* Accountable for delivering Net Material Cost Price Targets through Negotiations, Hedging of Raw Materials & FX rates, Pre-buy/Inventory Support, and Tariff Mitigation;
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across corporate, supplier, and factory levels to execute commodity sourcing strategies that drive value and significantly impact bottom-line profitability;
* Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements;
* Lead cost takeout initiatives;
* Define and prioritize new supplier development.
**Minimum requirements**
------------------------
* Bachelor’s Degree;
* Experience in procurement, supply chain, or business;
* Cost management skills;
* Fluent English.
**Preferred skills and experiences**
------------------------------------
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering;
* Financial Management and forecasting;
* Demonstrated practical application of supplier management and sourcing principles;
* Negotiation, conflict resolution, and management skills;
* Ability to build strong rapport and relationships with internal process partners and suppliers;
* Analytical and related computer skills;
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities;
* Self-motivated individual with the vision and work ethic required for future growth.
