Product data management and manufacturing support **JOB MISSION** Support the mechanical project development cycle by performing 3D modeling, technical detailing, and product data structuring. The focus is on ensuring operational engineering support and technical interface with production, guaranteeing compliance with company quality standards and deadlines. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Development and Modeling:** Support the creation of 3D models for components and assemblies, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to sound engineering practices (SolidWorks). * **Technical Detailing:** Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings, including tolerance specifications, surface finish requirements, and views necessary for the shop floor. * **Product Data Management (BOM):** Structure and review bills of materials, item coding, and project tree organization within the system to ensure integrity of production-related information. * **Manufacturing Support:** Generate technical files for laser cutting and bending processes, acting as a consultative interface to minimize interpretation errors during production. * **Standardization and Quality:** Organize and update the technical archive (documents, revisions, and models), ensuring traceability and application of internal engineering standards. * **Project Monitoring:** Assist in tracking project schedules and gathering technical inputs from Engineering and Quality teams. **REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE** * **Education:** Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields (preferably from the 4th semester onward). * **Technical Knowledge:** Basic proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks will be considered a strategic advantage). * **Technical Drawing:** Strong ability to read and interpret industrial drawings. * **Office Suite:** Functional knowledge of Excel for list and control management. * **Profile:** Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving orientation, and excellent document organization skills. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * **Manufacturing Processes:** Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, bending, laser cutting, and welding processes. * **Academic/Practical Experience:** Participation in research projects, competition teams (Baja/FSAE), or prior internships in industrial settings. * **Product Structuring:** Familiarity with ERP concepts and technical document management.
