Job Summary: This position supports the painter throughout the entire process, including surface preparation, cleaning, paint mixing, and application of coatings. Key Highlights: 1. Direct assistance to the painter in various tasks 2. Detailed surface preparation for painting 3. Responsibility for material conservation Assisting the painter during the painting process Surface preparation: Manual and/or mechanical sanding of parts, walls, ceilings, floors, or any surface to be painted—materials may include masonry, concrete, iron, aluminum, or plastics Cleaning of parts and/or work areas manually and/or by washing Paint preparation Application of paint on small cutouts (stripe coating) Surface preparation involving cleaning, sanding, filling, conditioning the surface to be painted using manual and/or mechanical methods, washing, and masking areas. Assisting the painter, preparing the surface to be painted, and fulfilling the painter’s requests during painting activities. Preparing the work environment Responsibility for cleaning and maintaining materials and machinery provided by the company and/or client for service activities.
