Description
**About the position**
Perform operational tasks related to order picking, material handling, storage, line replenishment, and shipping, ensuring organization, accuracy, and continuous flow to meet production and internal/external customer requirements.
**Responsibilities**
**Material Handling and Movement**
* Manually pick parts, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
* Load and unload materials and finished products.
* Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts (when certified).
* Safely and efficiently move materials between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
**Line Replenishment and Material Withdrawal**
* Replenish production lines according to PCP requests and signals.
* Withdraw materials and parts from production lines, ensuring continuous flow and preventing stockouts or overstocking.
* Monitor stock levels in cells and replenish as needed.
* Comply with FIFO/FEFO standards and visual instructions.
**Order Picking, Storage, and Organization**
* Perform order picking based on production or shipping orders.
* Organize and store materials in appropriate locations, respecting layout, slotting, and safety regulations.
* Maintain aisles, racks, picking areas, and line zones orderly (5S).
**Inventory Control and Accuracy**
* Record receipts, issues, and movements in ERP systems or data collectors.
* Participate in cycle counts, periodic inventories, and full physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
* Report damages, shortages, overages, or non-conforming materials.
**Receiving and Shipping**
* Verify invoices, purchase orders, labels, and supporting documents.
* Prepare packaging, labeling, and identification for shipment.
* Assist in truck loading, ensuring cargo safety and integrity.
**Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement**
* Comply with safety regulations, traffic routes, and PPE usage requirements.
* Maintain material handling equipment through daily checklists.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste (muda), overburden (muri), and inconsistency (mura).
* Participate in training sessions, internal audits, and Lean practices (5S, standardization, Kanban).
**Requirements (mandatory)**
* Completed high school education
* Forklift Operator Certification (NR\-11\)
**Preferred qualifications (desirable)**
* NR\-12 certification
* Basic computer skills and ERP system experience
* Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO principles
