Select and separate ingredients to be used, verifying expiration dates and product quality to ensure meal quality. Receive, inspect, and store food supplies, and maintain hygiene in the storage area. Receive and select fruits, vegetables, and greens, removing unsuitable parts (e.g., wilted or spoiled), perform pre-hygiene procedures, and store them appropriately—either refrigerated or non-refrigerated. Perform pre-preparation, hygiene, and small-scale food production under the guidance of the cook and/or unit manager. Position is located in Americana / SP. Previous experience as Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Junior Cook, or Kitchen Intern may indicate suitability for some activities of this role. Incomplete elementary education required.
