Job Summary: A supermarket in Belém is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to prepare and assemble salads, assist with desserts and beverages, and ensure sector hygiene. Key Highlights: 1. Assist in assembling desserts and preparing beverages. 2. Ensure organization and hygiene of the work area. 3. Prior kitchen experience is a plus. Supermarket seeks a Kitchen Assistant in Belém. **Responsibilities:** Prepare and assemble salads and vegetables, adhering to quality and presentation standards. Select grains and other ingredients according to menu guidelines and nutritionist instructions. Assist in assembling desserts and preparing beverages such as juices, coffee, and hot chocolate. Restock salt and pepper shakers and other utensils used in the dining area or pantry. Collect and sanitize utensils, food items, and beverages used during preparation and service. Clean machines, equipment, and the work area, ensuring organization and hygiene. Collect sector waste, properly packaging and disposing of residues. Transport vegetables and legumes between storage, preparation, and distribution areas. Prepare snacks for in-store events, as required by the unit. Perform related duties to support smooth sector and unit operations. Previous roles such as Assistant Cook, Kitchen Helper, Food Preparer, or Restaurant Assistant may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. Completed elementary education required.
