Maintenance of kitchen cleanliness and organization Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing meats, poultry, and fish for cooking—cutting\-them, cleaning\-them, weighing\-them, portioning\-them according to requested servings, and storing\-them. Separating food items according to the daily menu, verifying appearance, quality, and expiration dates; assisting in meal preparation; washing, peeling, selecting, chopping, or grinding ingredients; preparing simple dishes under supervision, as needed. Sharpening knives and other cutting tools. Loading and unloading non-perishable goods and restaurant supplies. Ensuring individual and collective safety by using appropriate personal protective equipment during task execution. Disposing of waste materials generated at the workplace. Washing kitchen utensils while maintaining environmental organization and cleanliness. Continuously restocking food items in the dining area. Relevant experience (verified or unverified) in cooking, cutting, serving on the buffet line, and food pre-preparation.
