**As a Data Science Professional, you will:**
* Collect, integrate, clean, and organize data from various sources.
* Conduct exploratory data analysis and assess data quality (with emphasis on industrial time series).
* Prepare datasets for model training, validation, and testing.
* Develop physical/mathematical and machine learning models for applications such as soft sensors, failure prediction, and process optimizers.
* Support performance evaluation of developed models.
* Monitor deployed models in production—tracking performance, deviations, and need for adjustments.
* Create analyses, visualizations, and technical reports to support decision-making.
* Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and process experts to understand industrial problems and propose data-driven solutions.
* Develop technical skills in Python, data analysis, modeling, machine learning, and best practices of applied data science in industry.
**For this role, you must have:**
* Intermediate English proficiency for conversation.
* Knowledge of basic descriptive statistics and understanding of major machine learning paradigms (supervised, unsupervised, etc.).
* Basic knowledge of time series—including trend, seasonality, lags, and handling missing data.
* Proficiency in Python and established data science libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit\-learn, matplotlib, etc.).
* Knowledge of algorithms and data structures, and familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
* Strong communication skills to document analyses, explain results, and interact with technical teams.
* Interest in applying data science to industrial processes, advanced control, optimization, or process engineering.
**Nice-to-have qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
* Prior experience in data projects and/or products applied to industry.
* Specialized courses or certifications in Data Science / Machine Learning.
