Description

Prepare ingredients for use in the culinary process (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.). Follow established standards and procedures, as well as workplace cleanliness and organization. Adhere to company-established regulations and achieve set targets. Organize workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment; Handle and season food; Prepare ingredients for use in the culinary process (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.); Cook using various utensils or grills; Monitor food while cooking, such as stirring or flipping; Maintain a hygienic and orderly kitchen environment; Ensure all food and other items are stored correctly; Inspect ingredient quality and report to supervisors whenever necessary; Monitor inventory and place orders when shortages occur; Ensure excellent presentation by arranging dishes before serving; Store supplies; Monitor appropriate temperatures and energy levels for kitchen areas; Prepare main dishes, sauces, side dishes, and salads; Clean and maintain kitchen premises and equipment in the department; Prepare for the following day according to the established schedule; Deliver preparations to the distribution counter or storage, per established procedures; Collect and wash cutlery and utensils used in food preparation; Clean the kitchen grease trap according to the scheduled plan; Carry out processes and procedures following company-established norms and checklists; Follow company-established quality standards; Complete company-established checklists; Review checklists completed on previous days to identify and correct potential failures. Select vegetables, meats, fish, and cereals for food preparation; Minimum 6 months of proven experience in industrial kitchens preparing food.
