At Andrade Gutierrez, all people are welcome, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or disability. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate motor grader to perform leveling services (excavation, scarification, spreading, and grading) on soils, sub-base, base, primary road surfacing, platforms, slope finishing (ramps), surface drainage ditches, maintenance of access roads, and other tasks, per instructions from immediate supervisor; * Inspection: Inspect equipment prior to operation, checking instrument panel, reverse alarm, tires, presence of leaks, looseness, and irregularities, reporting findings to immediate supervisor for appropriate action and to prevent problem escalation; * Access Road Maintenance: Perform access road maintenance on site, correcting roadbeds, removing stones, filling potholes, and smoothing undulations to ensure optimal traffic conditions for haul trucks and vehicles; * Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform cutting, spreading, shallow scarification, and grading of soil layers, sub-base, base, and primary road surfacing on platforms, guided by topographic markings and instructions from immediate supervisor, to comply with project specifications; * Ditch Excavation: Excavate surface drainage ditches to channel rainwater, ensuring access roads remain trafficable; * Slope Finishing: Perform slope finishing using the machine’s blade in lateral position to achieve better ramp finish; * Reporting: Complete equipment defect reports when required, detailing observed and/or occurring mechanical failures to guide preventive maintenance activities; * Irregularities and Failures: Report equipment operational irregularities to management, specifying observed failures to support maintenance planning; * Standards and Procedures: Carry out tasks according to instructions and service priorities set by immediate supervisor, following company standards and procedures, properly using uniforms and required personal protective equipment (PPE), and complying with occupational safety & health, environmental, quality, and social responsibility requirements; * Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep workplace, equipment, and materials clean and organized to ensure optimal usability; dispose of waste generated during activities into designated containers and locations, preserving occupational safety, health, and environmental standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Incomplete Elementary Education. * Prior experience in the role, specifically on heavy civil construction projects. * Driver’s License Class D. * Experience on heavy civil construction projects. **Additional Information** **Work Location:** Willingness to reside in **Barra dos Coqueiros - SE** * Meal allowance * On-site meals (provided by the company) * Life insurance * Hapvida health plan * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * GymPass * TotalPass * WE ARE AG It is through the strength of \#OurPeople that we build the future and reach ever further! * OUR HISTORY Andrade Gutierrez was founded in 1948 in Minas Gerais by three young engineers who began building roads—and never stopped.
