FORKLIFT OPERATOR II

Description

TPC needs a forklift operator to perform cargo handling activities using forklifts safely and appropriately for the role, ensuring the integrity of involved employees and available infrastructure. Stack and position various materials in warehouses, storage facilities, yards, and other locations. **Responsibilities and duties** Preparing cargo for loading; Loading and unloading vehicles; Internal cargo handling; Placing and retrieving cargo from pallet racking systems; Preparing cargo for automated induction and/or manual handling; Inducing postal items into letter and parcel sorting machines; Manual cargo sorting; Cargo unitization (automated and manual sorting); Charging batteries of material handling equipment when required; Receiving orders; Filling out control forms and archiving; Verifying received cargo at units; Weighing primary and secondary unitizers; Activities related to cargo storage; Reconditioning of items; Entering information into systems; Inducing items onto conveyors and X-ray equipment; Participating in daily safety meetings (DDS) and training sessions; Complying with all routines, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards applicable to the process. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education. * Forklift Operator course — training and/or refresher within validity period (5 years); * Valid driver's license category B; * Minimum 6 months of experience operating electric forklifts; * Experience with order-picking forklifts and working at heights are desirable. **Additional information** * Benefits: Health insurance; Dental insurance; Incentive program; Profit-sharing bonus (PLR); Life insurance; TotalPass; Meal allowance (VA); Food voucher (VR); Transportation voucher (VT).
