Ensure operational availability of the fleet **Fleet Maintenance Supervisor** **Location:** São Luís – MA **Company:** Transambiental Resíduos Ltda. **Employment Type:** CLT **About the Position** Transambiental Resíduos Ltda., a company specializing in waste collection, transportation, and disposal, is seeking a **Fleet Maintenance Supervisor** to lead the maintenance team and ensure maximum operational availability of the fleet. We seek a professional with leadership, planning, and technical expertise in truck and hydraulic equipment maintenance. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate teams of mechanics, electricians, and maintenance assistants. * Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Ensure operational availability of the fleet. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. * Manage work orders and maintenance schedules. * Manage inventory of parts, tires, lubricants, and materials. * Request and monitor purchases of parts and outsourced services. * Negotiate with suppliers and external workshops. * Monitor maintenance KPIs, costs, and downtime. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE. * Provide technical support to the team and propose continuous improvements to maintenance processes. **Requirements** * Completed high school education. * Technical course in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related fields (preferred). * Proven experience in heavy fleet maintenance. * Experience leading teams. * Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. * Experience with compactor trucks, hook-lifts, roll-on/roll-off units, or similar equipment is a plus. * Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. * Driver’s license category B (category D is a plus). **Competencies** * Team leadership. * Organization. * Planning. * Strong communication skills. * Analytical mindset. * Sense of urgency. * Results-oriented. * Decision-making ability. **Benefits** * Competitive salary. * Meal allowance. * Transportation voucher. * Professional growth opportunities. **Advantages** Experience in the following industries will be considered advantageous: * Waste collection. * Transportation. * Logistics. * Heavy construction. * Equipment rental. * Sanitation. * Diesel fleet maintenance. **Join Transambiental Resíduos Ltda. and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and excellence-driven operation.** Salary: R$3\.000,00 \- R$3\.500,00 per month Benefits: * Free parking * Life insurance * Transportation voucher Work Location: On-site
