Coordinate, plan, and monitor electrical engineering activities, ensuring project and construction execution with quality, safety, technical compliance, cost control, schedule adherence, and alignment with the company’s strategic guidelines. **Responsibilities and Duties** Lead, control, analyze, discuss, and support engineering activities specified in projects, coordinating the team of specialists and engineers under their responsibility and promoting interdisciplinary interaction with other company departments. Monitor the management of contracts with design and supervision companies. Ensure engineering project timelines and costs adhere to plans, participating in the preparation of technical requisitions for general engineering service contracts. Technically evaluate proposals received from design companies. Collaborate with Project Managers to define scope, timelines, characteristics, and requirements of contracted services. Ensure overall project integration by analyzing and harmonizing all disciplines to achieve a final result with quality, reliability, safety, and performance. Coordinate civil engineering teams in the development, integration, execution, and monitoring of projects and constructions. Serve as the interface with suppliers, designers, contractors, clients, and other involved departments. Enhance team productivity by distributing tasks, providing technical guidance, and monitoring deliverables. Our projects span all stages of the mining lifecycle—from greenfield development through to operations—and we employ over 2,100 professionals nationwide, all committed to our mission. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Vale do Aço region, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet beneficiation plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project entered operation, with a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the total capacity of the Baratinha Complex to 4.0 million tons per year. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in the third quarter of 2025\. The project holds reserves of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade ore, and its full-capacity production is expected to reach 2.0 million tons per year, exclusively via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Pará state, located in Água Azul do Norte near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed since the greenfield stage, this project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and employs predominantly local workers.
