Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement **Job Description** ------------------- **Job Summary:** The Operations Director for Nerópolis, Brazil, will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the Kraft Heinz plant unit in Nerópolis, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role focuses on driving operational excellence and strategic growth. **Key Responsibilities:*** Lead and manage all production, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance functions within the Nerópolis plant. * Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives and regional market demands. * Optimize production processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity. * Ensure the highest product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ANVISA, HACCP). * Manage budgets, control expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement. * Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring a safe working environment and full compliance with health and safety regulations. * Lead, guide, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. * Collaborate cross-functionally with R\&D, Logistics, Engineering, People, and Sales to ensure integrated operations and uninterrupted product launches. * Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and distribution activities to meet customer demand. * Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and support data-driven decision-making. * Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality materials and on-time deliveries. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and other best practices. * Ensure governance and execution of processes in accordance with our Kraft Heinz Manufacturing System (KHMS). **Requirements/Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical), Business Administration, or related field. * Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations management within the food or consumer goods industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial operations and achieving operational excellence. * Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. * Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. * Advanced/Fluent English * Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. * Willingness to work onsite at our Nerópolis plant in Goiás. **Location(s)** --------------- Nerópolis, Brazil **Kraft Heinz is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes.**
