**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**:
A professional responsible for supporting the procurement of materials, equipment, tools, and services required to ensure the progress of construction projects. Supports administrative routines within the procurement department by preparing quotations, tracking purchase orders, monitoring delivery deadlines, and managing supplier relationships—ensuring that inputs are acquired with appropriate quality, cost, and adherence to established timelines.
**DETAILED DESCRIPTION**:
* Assist in obtaining price quotations from suppliers of construction materials and services.
* Request and track commercial proposals, comparing prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
* Issue purchase orders in accordance with requests approved by engineering, warehousing, or the responsible department.
* Monitor material delivery flows at construction sites, verifying compliance with agreed timelines and conditions.
* Maintain contact with suppliers to align deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and update commercial information.
* Support the development and registration of new suppliers.
* Verify purchase orders, invoices, and related procurement documentation.
* Update spreadsheets, ERP systems, and internal procurement controls.
* Assist in managing contracts, service measurements, and contractor documentation.
* Monitor inventory levels jointly with the warehouse to prevent shortages or overstocking.
* Support negotiations aimed at reducing costs and improving commercial terms.
* Organize physical and digital files containing departmental documents.
* Comply with internal procedures, procurement policies, and company regulations.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
* Completed high school education.
* Technical or undergraduate degree in Administration, Logistics, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, or related fields is desirable.
* Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative roles is a plus.
* Experience in the construction industry is considered an important advantage.
* Basic knowledge of procurement processes and negotiation techniques.
* Familiarity with construction materials and inputs used in civil construction.
* Proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel and ERP systems.
