We are looking for a **Backend Engineer Pleno** to develop and evolve backend systems using **Python and MongoDB**. We seek someone with a solid foundation in software engineering who cares about quality and performance, and who wants to grow alongside the team. **Key responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain backend systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and code quality; * Contribute to architecture evolution and engineering best practices; * Support system observability (logs, metrics, and traces); * Work with databases such as MongoDB, SQL, and Redis, ensuring query efficiency; * Implement service integrations (APIs and messaging systems like Kafka); * Collaborate on continuous improvement of development processes (CI/CD, testing, etc.); * Participate in technical discussions and contribute to engineering decisions. **Requirements:** * Experience developing backend applications using Python in production; * Practical experience with MongoDB (data modeling, indexing, and query optimization); * Experience with distributed systems and/or microservices architecture; * Experience integrating services (APIs, messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.); * Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases; * Solid foundation in software engineering (readability, testing, version control, etc.); * Experience working in cloud environments. **Nice-to-have:** * Experience with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Logstash); * Knowledge of SRE practices, automation, or infrastructure.
