Participation in training programs and professional development Floripa Shopping Supermarket We are hiring a Commercial Operator for the closing shift. Requirements: \- Completed high school education; \- Valid and up-to-date documents; \- Flexible working hours; \- Strong customer service skills. Responsibilities: Open the cash register; Monitor cash flow; Scan merchandise using the optical reader (barcode) for registration; Collect payment and provide change according to the customer's final bill amount at checkout; Accept payments in cash, checks, credit/debit cards, vouchers, or other currencies authorized by company policy; Verify authenticity of received banknotes; Check received checks and release purchases upon system credit confirmation; Promote ongoing promotions and events; Inform customers of store operating hours upon request; Consult the Consumer Protection Code when requested; Participate in on-site training and refresher courses; Restock merchandise according to store layout; Place price labels on gondola headers and merchandise per company standards and regulations; Highlight promotional items; Install and remove promotional materials; Escort customers to desired products; Maintain knowledge of all sold products and daily promotions; Assist with merchandise packaging; Clean the cash register counter (conveyor belt and other components) each time it becomes soiled during merchandise handling; Collect trash from the checkout counter; Actively participate in company initiatives and programs; Report to department leadership or cashier supervisor any need for maintenance or repair of equipment, electrical systems, or hydraulic systems; Comply with occupational health and safety guidelines; Complete the daily emotional status board; Train, instruct, and transfer company procedures and standards to new employees; Attend meetings and trainings scheduled by department leadership and management.
