In the role of **Data Science Specialist**, you will join the Data Science team, whose **mission is to build data-driven solutions that enhance user experience and business metrics at scale.** **On a day-to-day basis, you will:** * Build and maintain end-to-end ML model pipelines—including training, versioning, testing, and deployment; * Implement MLOps practices for automation, monitoring, and maintenance of models in production; * Collaborate closely with AI Scientists to transform experiments into production-ready solutions. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What do you need?** * Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; * Experience in numerical analysis and modeling; * Hands-on experience managing data products, ensuring technical solutions address real business problems; * Willingness and strong engagement to explore and participate in *use cases* involving Generative AI; * Strong communication skills with stakeholders, including the ability to document, translate, and clearly convey complex insights to audiences with diverse backgrounds; * Ability to conduct consistent and clear quantitative analyses—from problem framing through executive-level presentation of results; * Autonomy to write code and build functional prototypes without direct dependency on software engineers; * A collaborative mindset, with objective communication and active listening to value diverse perspectives. **Preferred / Differentiating Qualifications:** * Cloud knowledge, especially AWS; * Prior software development experience; * End-to-end experience building and developing products. **Additional Information** **More about OLX Group:** Operating in Brazil since 2010, OLX Group’s purpose is to empower people to achieve their dreams by reinventing consumption models.
