Job Summary: A Nursing Technician performs medium- and low-complexity nursing care, supporting the healthcare team in a hospital setting, with emphasis on nursing prescriptions and continuous patient care. The Nursing Technician carries out activities related to medium- and low-complexity nursing care, assisting the healthcare team in performing tasks at the hospital level, focusing on adherence to nursing prescriptions. **Responsibilities and Duties** Perform general and specific nursing procedures, such as: providing patient assistance through hygiene care, feeding support, capillary blood glucose monitoring, respiratory support therapies (micro- and macro-nebulization), airway suctioning, manipulation of catheters and drains, cleaning and disinfecting materials used by patients, preparing bodies post\-mortem, providing continuous assistance to patients receiving end-of-life care and controlled sedation, administering medications via oral, intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes, observing timing and dosage according to medical prescriptions, to achieve clinical stability for patients; Receive and hand over shifts with the nursing team, acknowledging and/or reporting all abnormalities and incidents occurring during the shift, to ensure effective communication for continuity of care; Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, identifying and forwarding them to the appropriate laboratories for required testing; Control and/or perform disinfection of materials used in procedures using appropriate techniques recommended by the Hospital Infection Control Commission (CCIH), recording and reporting data to minimize infection transmission risks; Participate in in-service training to ensure scientific updating in the field, thereby guaranteeing the quality of nursing care and patient safety.
