Our **Accounting** team is responsible for the monthly disclosure of financial results and balance sheets, supporting internal and external audits, fulfilling ancillary tax obligations, regulatory compliance (BACEN), and accounts payable processing. For this opportunity, we are seeking a professional to directly handle accounting tasks, with active participation in process improvement, indicator analysis, and month-end closing.

**Responsibilities and duties**
* Perform daily and monthly accounting closings, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reclassifications;
* Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, focusing on financial operations, settlement accounts, payment arrangements (credit/debit cards), and transit accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies;
* Participate in M\&A processes (mergers and acquisitions), supporting corporate/accounting structuring, impact mapping, accounting integration (including routine harmonization, chart of accounts, policies, opening balances, reconciliations, and alignment with COSIF/CPC standards), as well as providing support during transition and post-integration stabilization phases;
* Validate and analyze accounting groups related to TVM (Securities and Financial Instruments) and products/lines such as Prepaid, Postpaid, and other arrangements, ensuring balance consistency and correct classification;
* Classify and record invoices, expenses, revenues, and financial movements according to the Chart of Accounts for Financial Institutions (COSIF) and current accounting standards (CPCs);
* Assist in preparing, validating, and submitting regulatory reports to BACEN, such as forms 4010, 4016, 4060, 4066, and 4111, performing consistency validations, deadline controls, and adjustments per feedback/critiques;
* Support audit activities by gathering, organizing, and providing accounting evidence, reports, and documentation to meet requests from internal and external audit teams;
* Assist in reviewing financial statements and management reports (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet), checking significant variances, classifications, and balance consistency;
* Contribute to drafting accounting documents, such as policies and memoranda applicable across group companies, and prepare reports for board and executive meetings;
* Drive continuous process improvements: automating reconciliations, standardizing month-end checklists, reviewing system configurations, and reducing rework.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences;
* Familiarity with COSIF accounting standards;
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
**Additional information** **Preferred qualifications**
* Experience in the financial sector, including fintechs, payment institutions, and other organizations within the financial industry;
* Knowledge of BACEN regulations and processes;
* Skills and experience with data tools (SQL, Power BI, Python, etc.);
* Experience with large integrated enterprise systems such as SAP or Oracle.
**Work model**
* 8-hour workday (Monday to Friday);
* CLT employment contract.
