Description: EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Location: COLINA \- SP Department: Waste Management and Treatment WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: We are looking for a professional responsible for ensuring the proper handling, segregation, packaging, and primary disposal of waste generated at the facility, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and safety of the Waste Center and temporary storage areas. RESPONSIBILITIES:* Collect, handle, package, and segregate all types of waste (recyclables, rejects, hazardous, organic, etc.) generated, following internal procedures and current legislation. * Perform selective collection according to established standards. * Maintain impeccable organization and cleanliness of the Waste Center (yard) and temporary storage areas under their responsibility, including performing operational cleaning tasks (washing, sweeping, etc.). * Ensure good hygiene and safety conditions in the workplace. * Monitor waste volume and request external collection scheduling from the direct supervisor to prevent excessive accumulation of materials at the center. * Guide employees from other areas on best practices for correct temporary storage of waste at their source points. * Immediately report any operational deviations, equipment damage, or unsafe conditions that prevent or compromise the proper performance of their duties to the direct supervisor. * Ensure the preservation and proper use of equipment, tools, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) used in activities.
