Key Responsibilities: Manage the accounting and controller teams; Develop and implement controller policies and procedures; Prepare monthly financial performance reports and company performance reports against actual balances; Administer the preparation of cost accounting records; Supervise monthly and annual financial closing; Analyze budget variances and propose solutions; Manage the company’s financial planning and budgeting; Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance; Support strategic decision-making with accurate financial information; Identify and mitigate financial risks; Stay up to date with changes in accounting and tax regulations; Lead the implementation of new systems; Monitor adherence to the company’s budget, ensuring goal achievement, compliance with expense and cost levels; Review tax and accounting aspects related to new contracts signed with partners; Plan, direct, and monitor activities related to the development and organization of the cost system, including analysis of actual product costs and their respective contribution margins; Review financial statements, statement of changes in equity, value-added statement, cash flow statement, management commentary or management report, and explanatory notes on a quarterly and annual closing basis; Provide necessary tax guidance to all company departments responsible for issuing, recording, or processing fiscal documents; Assist senior management in implementing the company’s tax strategy; Support the Finance Director on matters within her area of responsibility. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences or related fields; Specialization in controller area; Advanced Excel knowledge, Protheus Totvs (area-specific module).
