**WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE** * **Provide exceptional customer service**, operating the point-of-sale terminal efficiently by using barcode scanners or manually entering product codes. * **Be responsible for the daily closing of the sales terminal**, accurately counting received payments in various forms and reconciling them with sales records, identifying and investigating any discrepancies. * **Process payments** in cash, credit or debit cards, ensuring purchase settlement and issuing customers the corresponding purchase receipts. * **Conduct meticulous verification of product codes and labels**, summoning the cashier supervisor when discrepancies arise with customers, thereby ensuring transaction transparency. * **Handle the opening and closing of the cash register**, serving customers promptly and accurately, recording their purchases and collecting corresponding payments. * **Actively promote at the checkout counter** credit accounts, store cards, insurance, loans, protected bags, PCJ, and daily offers. * **Actively participate in the credit account program**, attracting new customers, issuing credit proposals for evaluation, and promoting current promotional campaigns.
