Job Summary: Operates the PDV terminal, receives and registers products, processes payment transactions and cash register closing, and sanitizes shopping carts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Clean customer shopping carts Operate the PDV terminal; receive products sold at the establishment via checkout equipment by scanning barcodes with a barcode reader; register products; collect purchase amounts via check, credit/debit card, or cash. Request the cashier supervisor’s presence to hand over excess cash on hand; perform cash register closing. Clean customers’ and infants’ shopping carts using appropriate cleaning products and following established safety procedures.
