Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating land-based emergency vehicles to provide care and transport patients, performing fleet support and maintenance activities. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in training and continuous improvement **Objective:** * Operate land-based emergency vehicles designated for patient care and transportation. The employee is stationed at the base of origin and responds to emergencies on public roads, companies, residences, clinics, and hospitals upon dispatch by the emergency center. **Responsibilities:** * Perform daily fleet inspection checklists — including the on-duty vehicle and reserve vehicles; * Initiate Service Orders and notify supervisors and the fleet maintenance department whenever mechanical, electrical, or other types of maintenance are required, and monitor resolution of maintenance issues; * Participate in training programs for pre-hospital care, traffic legislation, and defensive driving; * Notify the supervisor immediately following any traffic accident, with or without injuries, and follow company-established procedures; * Have thorough knowledge of the assigned vehicle and perform basic vehicle maintenance; * Know the local road network; * Know the locations of all healthcare facilities integrated into the local assistance system; * Assist the healthcare team with basic life support measures, immobilization techniques, and patient transport; * Perform basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); * Identify all types of equipment present in rescue vehicles and their respective uses to assist the healthcare team; **Prerequisites:** * High school diploma, CNH Category D license, and a valid Emergency Vehicle Driver course compliant with training and operational standards. * Pre-Hospital Care Course.
