We are seeking talented individuals to join our team as \*\*Systems Architect\*\*, collaborating on a banking technology project. This person will work on a highly strategic initiative focused on modernizing legacy systems within a mission-critical, high-business-value application. \#\# Responsibilities * Design, validate, and evolve the architecture of high-complexity core loan solutions. * Define and disseminate architectural best practices, engineering principles, and design standards across squads. * Lead the legacy modernization strategy, including coexistence, data migration, and \*cut-over\*. * Optimize platform performance, scalability, resilience, and observability. * Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and development for software architects across squads, supporting both technical and behavioral growth of the team. * Participate in technical reviews, ADRs, and foundational architectural decisions alongside the Principal Engineer. * Support quality, security, and technical governance initiatives aligned with the banking regulatory context. * Identify technical risks and propose mitigation plans jointly with business and technology stakeholders. * Support technical team management by providing guidance and direction in activity execution and career development. \#\# Requirements * Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Technical Leader in high-complexity, mission-critical projects. * Strong knowledge of \*\*.NET\*\* and designing \*\*microservices\*\* and production APIs. * Advanced experience with \*\*Oracle\*\* and large-scale data modeling. * Consistent experience with \*\*distributed architectures, microservices, and event-driven\*\* systems. * Experience with messaging systems (\*\*Kafka and/or RabbitMQ\*\*) in high-volume transactional environments. * Experience with cloud environments, preferably \*\*AWS\*\*. * Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed systems. * Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor architects, and make architectural decisions. * Experience in agile and multi-squad environments. * Hands-on technical leadership approach, with strong engineering and development capability, directly contributing to design decisions, PoCs, and code reviews when needed. \#\# Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in \*\*banking core systems\*\*, preferably in \*\*loans/credit\*\*, or in regulated environments (BACEN, LGPD). * Experience in \*\*legacy system modernization\*\* (e.g., Sybase, VB6 or similar) and patterns such as \*Strangler Fig\*, ACL, and CDC. * Advanced experience with \*\*Oracle Exadata\*\*. * Proficiency in \*\*AI-assisted development\*\* (Claude Code and/or Cursor). * Knowledge of \*\*Kubernetes (EKS)\*\*, IaC, and advanced CI/CD. * Mastery of \*\*DDD, Clean/Hexagonal Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing\*\*. * Experience with high-availability systems and high-volume transactional environments. * Prior experience technically leading \*\*multiple teams\*\* simultaneously. **Our benefits:** * Health and dental insurance; * Meal and food allowance; * Childcare assistance; * Extended parental leave; * Partnerships with gyms and health/wellness professionals via Wellhub (Gympass, TotalPass); * Profit Sharing Program (PLR); * Life insurance; * Continuous learning platform (CI\&T University); * Discount club; * Free online platform dedicated to physical, mental, and overall well-being; * Pregnancy and responsible parenting courses; * Partnerships with online learning platforms; * Language learning platform; * And many more More details about our benefits here: https://ciandt.com/br/pt\-br/carreiras At CI\&T, inclusion begins at first contact.
