The professional will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our complex network architecture, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and network virtualization technologies in large-scale data center environments. Their role will be critical to maintaining our network infrastructure, promoting system stability and security—directly impacting service continuity and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities and duties** * Firewall Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain security policies\- Traffic Segregation with VRFs: Implement and manage Virtual Routing and Forwarding\- Load Balancer Administration: Manage to ensure traffic distribution and high availability\- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network health and resolve issues\- IP Address Management: Administer IP ranges (IPv4 and IPv6\) * Optimize network architecture to ensure high availability and performance. * Ensure network security through appropriate configurations and policies. * Efficiently resolve complex connectivity and routing issues. * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation to facilitate future maintenance and audits. * Design network architecture solutions. **Requirements and qualifications** * Solid expertise in configuring firewalls from multiple vendors. * Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and VLANs. * Mastery of VRFs for traffic segregation. * Mastery of load balancer configuration and management. * In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, VPNs. * Experience with network monitoring tools. * Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE or equivalents (preferred). * Experience with cloud-based networks (preferred). * Experience in network automation scripting (Python, Ansible). * Experience with Zero Trust, IDS/IPS, and WAF (preferred). * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields. * Must reside in Rio de Janeiro, preferably with easy access to the Botafogo neighborhood. **Additional information** Benefits: * Meal Allowance and/or Food Voucher * Transportation Voucher * Medical Assistance * Dental Assistance * Life Insurance * Private Pension Plan * Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) * Pharmacy Allowance * Childcare Assistance * Flexible Working Hours * V.tal Benefits Club * Extended Maternity Leave (6 months) * Extended Paternity Leave (20 days) **THE FUTURE STARTS HERE—AND WE’LL BUILD IT WITH YOU** ---------------------------------------------------------------- **We are V.tal, a company born with the purpose of enabling connection to the digital world and transforming people’s lives.** We work to help position Brazil at the top of the list of the world’s most digitally advanced countries—promoting digital inclusion, accelerating new businesses, and stimulating regional development.
