In a collaborative environment, they continuously pursue technological excellence and innovation. **Job Description** **The Logistics Intelligence Team** To tackle complex, highly scalable challenges, the Logistics Intelligence Team focuses on creating mathematical models and algorithms for decision automation, leveraging foundations from mathematics, computer science, and statistics. We are seeking an Optimization Analyst to join our team and contribute to developing data-driven solutions for Magalu's logistics operations. **Responsibilities:** Work on optimization projects, participating in the entire solution development lifecycle (from modeling to production deployment). **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. * Master's degree in Operations Research (Combinatorial, Robust, and/or Stochastic Optimization) or proven experience in the field. * Knowledge of algorithm complexity. * Basic knowledge of databases (BigQuery) and spreadsheets (Excel, Sheets). * Proactive mindset. * Programming experience in Python, C\+\+ or Java. * Experience building solutions using optimization models with solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi, XPRESS, HiGHS, or OR\-Tools and/or developing heuristic algorithms (Genetic Algorithms, Tabu Search, etc). **Preferred Qualifications** * PhD in Operations Research / Combinatorial Optimization. * Experience implementing optimization solutions in production (non-academic environments). * Experience in modeling, developing, and deploying large-scale logistics optimization solutions. * Retail industry experience. * Knowledge of agile methodologies. * Knowledge of data cleaning and analysis techniques. **What Is the Work Environment Like?** At Luizalabs, we enjoy high autonomy and responsibility, operate as multidisciplinary, self-managed teams, and maintain minimal bureaucracy in our daily routines.
