Activities include the efficient and cost-effective operation of operational systems and programs.**Summary of this role** ----------------------- The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the planning, analysis, and reporting of Materials Costs and Procurement performance for Brazil. This professional will play a critical role in executing financial routines and maintaining financial models to track commodities, inflation, and savings. The primary focus is to provide reliable analytical support to Finance leadership and the Procurement team, aiding in decision-making and cost control. **Your responsibilities will include** ------------------------------------ * Execute monthly closing activities related to Materials Costs, ensuring accuracy in accounting entries, reconciliations, and preliminary variance investigations; * Support the Annual Budget (Profit Plan) and periodic revisions (Monthly Outlook/Forecast) related to raw material spend by preparing input data and analyzing trends; * Maintain and update financial models to project the impact of inflation and foreign exchange (FX) rate fluctuations on imports, ensuring assumptions are accurately reflected; * Execute and update financial simulations to analyze changes in the Bill of Materials (BOM) and support scenario planning requested by leadership; * Monitor and analyze cost variances and material usage deviations to identify root causes; * Collaborate with Procurement and other departments to ensure the savings database is updated and reconciled with the P&L; * Prepare management reports and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to materials costs and supplier performance for review; * Act as a business partner to the Procurement department, providing accurate financial data and supporting sourcing evaluation decisions; * Ensure cost information accuracy in the ERP system and perform SOX compliance tasks as assigned; * Support process improvement initiatives by helping automate existing spreadsheets and improve data quality. **Minimum Requirements** ---------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. **Desired Skills and Experience** ----------------------------------------- * Familiarity with the manufacturing industry; * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (ability to understand complex formulas and manage large datasets); * Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), specifically MM and FI/CO transactions; * Basic knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and SOX concepts; * Strong analytical capability to interpret data and explain variances; * Attention to detail and discipline to meet month-end closing deadlines; * Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with Procurement teams; * Proactivity in resolving routine issues and willingness to learn new processes. **What We Offer** -------------------- * One day of remote work per week; * Flexible working hours; * Casual dress code; * Wellhub; * Commuter allowance, shuttle service, or on-site parking; * On-site meals; * Benefits such as payroll-deductible or social loans, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and market-competitive private pension plans; * Employee Assistance Program, offering 24-hour access to legal, social, financial, social work, and psychological professionals; * Childcare or on-site nursery assistance; * On-site services: beauty and aesthetics salon, internal bank branch, laundry, snack bar, restaurant, and lactation room; * Two weeks of remote work from anywhere; * After five years of employment, eligible employees may take four weeks of paid leave; * Product discounts via Compra Certa; * Extended maternity/paternity leave. * Learn more at https://www.whirlpoolcareers.com/trabalhe-conosco-no-brasil/ **Additional Information** -------------------------- This position is located in São Paulo, Brazil, approximately 15 minutes from Sacomã Station on the Green Line.
