The **Engineering** team needs someone — and we want you on board! **Your mission?** YYYY **Your day-to-day at Skeelo will look like this:** * Lead backend API and service development in Node.js for strategic products and integrations. * Drive end-to-end integrations with partners and projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability. * Contribute to evolving architecture, messaging systems, and observability of solutions using RabbitMQ, DataDog, and Elasticsearch. * Participate in technical decisions, code reviews, and defining best development practices. * Leverage Artificial Intelligence to accelerate development and increase team productivity. **To succeed in this role, you’ll need:** * Solid experience developing backend applications in Node.js and building REST APIs. * Experience with MongoDB and MySQL databases, as well as third-party API integrations. * Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ or similar), observability tools (DataDog and Elasticsearch), and architectural best practices. * Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenClaw, n8n, or similar. * Experience applying agile methodologies and delivering complex, high-impact projects. **It would be great if you also had:** * Experience with distributed systems, high-volume data processing, and production troubleshooting. * Experience managing API versioning and evolution, plus technical documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI. * Knowledge of API security, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting. * Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and lead technical discussions. **And the benefits?
