You will be responsible for preparing proposals and quotations for equipment, aiming to meet customer needs and expectations. You will play a critical role in our business success. In this position, you will report to the Proposal Manager. This position is primarily based in Sorocaba/SP and involves up to 10% travel. The team you’ll join You will join a Proposal Engineering team dedicated to offering Crushing Equipment and Systems for Mining. Currently, we operate globally to serve all Metso markets. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Metso Market Areas, Engineering Companies, Mining Customers, EPC Contractors, and others. Team members are located in Brazil, the USA, and India. What you’ll do Analyze customer documents, standards, specifications, and drawings, preparing deviation lists. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for mining equipment and systems. Consult internal and external suppliers and analyze and adapt supplier quotations. Prepare quotations and calculate selling prices. Prepare offer clarifications and project presentations to support commercial teams. Participate in internal and external meetings with customers and suppliers. Propose competitive, suitable, and timely solutions meeting customer requirements. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering. Active CREA registration is desirable. Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in engineering, pre-sales, and proposal activities. Experience with mining equipment — crushers, belt conveyors, feeders, screens, and crushing plants — is a plus. Knowledge of mechanical calculations. Fluent English — mandatory. Spanish — a plus.
