About the Opportunity: Alcoa is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at the Alumar facility in the Reduction area in São Luís do Maranhão, responsible for: * Integrating operational teams toward a common direction and interacting with maintenance and planning functions within the department to efficiently achieve or exceed departmental and company objectives related to safety, health, environment, quality, and production—at minimum cost; * Monitoring equipment performance to determine the need for maintenance interventions that ensure perfect equipment operation at full capacity; * Leading EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) programs within their area of responsibility, ensuring adherence to company policy objectives through full engagement of direct and indirect subordinates, as well as third\-party contractors, aiming to reduce incident rates, improve employee health, and decrease environmental incidents; * Aligning operational maintenance interventions to maximize equipment availability; * Ensuring team commitment to company safety, quality, and environmental control standards, complying with operational routines, inspection procedures, and application of EHS (Health, Safety and Environment) tools; * Leading critical analysis of operational performance indicators to allocate and direct resources effectively, thereby resolving issues and achieving targeted productivity and efficiency levels. What You Can Bring to This Role: * Technical degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, and/or related fields; * Desired: Basic English (reading, writing, and speaking); * Experience in production environments and people management skills; * Desired: Experience operating Potroom facilities; * Profile focused on safety and highly organized.
