




Develop pedagogical teams and **lead the implementation of pedagogical programs** based on the **Maple Bear** program and best practices, aiming to advance the development of high school students. **Responsibilities and Duties** #### **Pedagogical and Curriculum Management** * Review and propose improvements to the team’s **lesson planning**, with a focus on the Maple Bear methodology. * Develop and monitor the implementation of **learning assessment tools**. * Ensure the team stays updated on **program developments** and new pedagogical practices. * Organize pedagogical support activities (Support, Bridges, Math Support). * Coordinate the development of the **school calendar** in partnership with school leadership. * Develop and monitor, together with teachers, **Individualized Teaching Plans (ITPs)**. #### **Team Leadership and Development** * **Evaluate the performance** of all teachers and teaching assistants and prepare **Individual Development Plans (IDPs)**. * Organize **formative pedagogical meetings**. * Frequently observe classes, providing **feedback** to teachers and assistants to model best practices. * Create mechanisms for team **engagement and motivation**. * Participate, together with school leadership and HR, in **hiring and/or termination processes** for the pedagogical team. * Organize the **teaching staff timetable**. #### **Student and Family Relations** * Collaborate with Student Counseling to design and implement **welcoming and adaptation processes** for new students and their families. * Monitor and manage **critical absenteeism cases** jointly with families and relevant authorities. * Receive prospective parents, presenting the school and the Maple Bear methodology. * Conduct meetings with students’ **multidisciplinary teams**. * Draft and communicate **general school notices** to parents and staff, and respond to inquiries. * Observe and monitor student development in the classroom. * Supervise student arrival and departure procedures according to safety regulations. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy. * **Postgraduate studies:** In a field relevant to the position (e.g., school management). * **English:** Fluent. * **Minimum Experience:** 3 years of verified teaching experience **or** 2 years of verified pedagogical leadership experience. ### **Essential Knowledge** * Active learning methodologies. * Brazilian National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC). * Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA). * Brazilian Guidelines and Frameworks for Education Law (LDB). * Municipal and state-level regulations. * Positive discipline. * Strategic planning methods. ### **Behavioral Competencies** * **Skills:** Leadership, communication, interpersonal relationships, organization, negotiation, conflict management, and teamwork. * **Attitudes:** Proactivity, resilience, impartiality, pursuit of excellence, and empathy. * **Values:** Empathy, Excellence, Autonomy, Commitment, Creativity, and Respect. **Additional Information** TotalPass Meal Voucher On-site lunch (fixed value of R$8.00) Clude (Free telemedicine, psychotherapy, and nutrition services) Secure on-site parking Partnership with health insurance providers Maple Bear is one of the world’s largest bilingual education networks.
