Job Summary: A professional responsible for restocking, organization, customer service, inventory control, and cash register operation in perfumery stores. Key Highlights: 1. Customer service and restocking of perfumery products. 2. Organization and cleaning of the workplace. 3. Inventory control and possible cash register operation. * **Restocking merchandise:** Restock shelves, gondolas, and displays with perfumes, cosmetics, and other perfumery products. * **Organization and cleaning:** Maintain store organization, arrange products, remove damaged or expired items, and keep the workplace clean. * **Customer service:** Assist customers in locating products, answer questions about products, and, in some cases, conduct sales. * **Inventory control:** Monitor product stock levels, record goods receipts and shipments, and communicate with management regarding restocking needs. * **Cash register operation:** In some cases, may be responsible for operating the store’s cash register, receiving customer payments, and issuing invoices. Work Location: A perfumery restocker/cashier may work in perfumery stores, pharmacies, department stores, and other commercial establishments selling perfumery products. Qualifications: Although specific formal education is not always required, completion of high school is a common requirement for this position. Online or technical courses in sales or logistics may be advantageous. Additional Information: * The role of a perfumery restocker/cashier may involve customer interaction and product sales; therefore, communication and customer service skills are important.
