You will work collaboratively with cross\-functional teams to create API layers, ensuring high\-quality deliverables that align with client expectations. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping our development strategy while mentoring junior developers along the way. **Key Responsibilities*** Develop and implement backends that meet our clients' needs. * Collaborate with the team to design and enhance various backend functionalities. * Create API layers to be consumed by internal and external frontends and backends. * Conduct unit testing, adjusting as necessary to ensure quality. * Participate in project planning and review meetings, contributing to the company’s development strategy. * Mentor and guide junior and intermediate developers on the team. **Required Skills and Qualifications****Must\-have Skills:*** Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Spring Boot. * Skill in strategizing and creating RESTful APIs and Backend For Frontend solutions. * Proficiency in backend frameworks and testing libraries. * Ability to utilize software engineering patterns to create modular backends, focusing on maintainability and performance (Design Patterns, SOLID, DDD, Clean Code). * Capability to work with services that use a Serverless strategy. * Skills to create and maintain CI/CD tools for defining the application's build/bundle (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, etc.). * Solid understanding of agile development methodologies. * Ability to work in a team and possess good interpersonal communication skills. * A portfolio demonstrating relevant previous experiences will be a plus. **Nice\-to\-have Skills:*** Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools.
