Job Summary: A professional responsible for inventory analysis, distribution planning, equipment control, and logistics support at Brazilian ports. Key Highlights: 1. Management and control of special containers and logistics costs. **LOGISTICS ASSISTANT \- EQUIPMENT CONTROL** We are searching for an experienced **LOGISTICS ASSISTANT \- EQUIPMENT CONTROL** at our **SANTOS** facility. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** * Analyze inventory and demand at Brazilian ports; * Prepare empty container shipment lists from surplus areas to deficit areas in coordination with the Reposition & Transport Department; * Organize transfers by distributing empty containers arriving from abroad among depots in coordination with the Reposition & Transport Department, as well as between South American ports; * Plan empty container distribution considering always the lowest logistics cost while maximizing operational capacity at empty container depots; * Align empty container transfer scheduling (discharge/loading) with depots according to the time windows offered by port terminals; * Manage positioning and workshop output in coordination with empty container depots; * Support customers regarding import and export demand; * Control and release special containers (Open Top, Flat Racks, and 20'Reefer); * Provide support to internal departments regarding empty container demand at Brazilian ports; * Control seal usage, ON\-HIRE, OFF\-HIRE processes, and sanctioned ports "White List" across all Brazilian ports; * Control usage and authorization of fuel supply invoices and GENSET coupling; * Control usage of special containers (Open Top, Flat Racks, and 20'Reefer); * Monitor subleased units or unauthorized use (by other shipping lines) in coordination with GVA; * Submit repositioning, inventory, and transportation reports to GVA; * Control logistics costs, consistently pursuing optimal repositioning strategies; * Schedule empty container transportation with carriers and depots, monitoring operations to avoid storage costs; * Schedule loading of empty containers from surplus areas to deficit areas. **Required Qualifications:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields; * Intermediate English proficiency; * Intermediate Excel proficiency; * Basic knowledge of Logistics and International Trade.
