**About the position** We are looking for a **Senior Network Engineer** to join the **Architecture and Engineering** team at a multinational **Data Center and Digital Services** company. This role will be responsible for **technically leading the networking area**, with strong involvement in **information security** and **data center network infrastructure**. The professional will work closely with **product development**, **pre\-sales**, and **operations**, serving as a technical reference for **networking, connectivity, and security solutions**. **Main responsibilities** * Act as **Technical Lead** for the networking team, ensuring technical standards, best practices, and high availability of the infrastructure; * Collaborate with the **product development team**, supporting the creation and evolution of new services (networking, cloud, and security); * Define and document **network and security architectures**, policies, procedures, and operational workflows; * Support the **pre\-sales team** in defining technical solutions for new business opportunities; * Propose and implement **continuous improvements in security and performance** of corporate and data center networks; * Work together with the **operations team** to handle critical incidents and emergency situations; * Participate in occasional **on\-call shifts** outside business hours and on weekends when necessary. **Technical requirements** * Solid experience in **data center environments and large\-scale corporate networks**; * Expertise in **routing and switching** (Cisco ACI, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, MPLS, VRF, etc.); * Advanced knowledge of **Cisco and Juniper** (at **CCNP** level or equivalent); * Experience with **Fortinet firewalls** (configuration, troubleshooting, security policies, and integration); * Experience with **SIEM platforms**, preferably **SolarWinds** (monitoring, incident correlation, and response); * Hands\-on experience with **F5 BIG\-IP** (load balancing, WAF, and SSL offload); * Solid knowledge of **information security**, **network segmentation**, **VPNs**, **IDS/IPS**, and **high availability**; * Desired certifications: **CCNP, JNCIP, NSE**, or equivalent. * Advanced English and Spanish (fluency is a plus) **Soft Skills** * Strong sense of **ownership** and **proactivity**; * Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills**; * Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and countries; * Commitment to **service availability and continuity**, even outside regular business hours. **Differentiators** * Previous experience in **data center, telecommunications, or cloud provider companies**; * Involvement in **network automation and observability projects**; * Additional certifications in **security, network virtualization, or orchestration (SDN, NFV, etc.)**.
