Job Summary: This role involves conducting laboratory analyses of materials, registering results, operating equipment, and ensuring quality control for various products, adhering to safety and quality standards. Monitor pending batches and issue conformity certificates. **About the Position** ====================== * Perform laboratory analyses of samples from raw materials, production processes, and finished products, in accordance with established technical specifications. * Record analysis results in current corporate systems, ensuring data traceability and integrity. * Carry out material collection for rework, as required by operational needs or technical requests. * Identify and flag rejected or rework-susceptible materials using appropriate procedures and labels. * Operate measurement equipment and instruments used in Quality Control activities, following technical instructions and safety standards. * Conduct periodic equipment checks, including cleaning, reagent replacement, and verification against reference standards, per defined routines. * Prepare finished product samples for customer shipment, performing necessary tests under guidance and supervision of more experienced professionals (senior analyst, supervisor, or team leader). * Perform metallographic analyses on materials, focusing on identification of cross-contamination, inclusions, and microstructural variations, per defined technical criteria. * Conduct product audits on finished materials per established routines, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. * Monitor daily pending approval batches in the M3 system, performing critical data analysis and releasing materials per technical criteria, while requesting pending samples from responsible departments. * Issue conformity certificates for finished products via designated systems. * Approve materials in management systems per technical and operational criteria. * Verify shipping forecasts and check pending issues related to materials scheduled for dispatch. * While employed by Höganäs, the employee must comply with applicable regulations, internal guidelines, and procedures related to Health, Occupational Safety, Quality, Environment, and Energy Management, ensuring process reliability, personnel safety, and product quality. * Maintain laboratory workspace organization by applying 5S principles to ensure efficiency and quality in performed activities. *Occasionally performs the following tasks under guidance from senior analyst, supervisor, or team leader:* * Support execution of MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) studies, contributing to analytical data reliability and improvement of measurement processes. * Develop secondary standards for verification and control of laboratory equipment, ensuring result consistency and supporting internal calibration. * Support specific quality control and document management activities. * Participate in corrective and preventive actions related to nonconformities. **Working at Höganäs** ---------------------- We aim to offer a great and meaningful place to work where you can fulfill your potential and ambitions.
