Check out more details about this opportunity below. **THE POSITION** We are looking for a Junior Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team of our **Tubes and Steel Division** at our **Head Office** in **Guarulhos/SP**. To succeed in this role, the candidate must have a **“hands-on” profile**, with abundant energy, proactivity, negotiation skills, interpersonal relationship abilities, resilience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and enjoy customer service. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, fault identification, and repairs on electrical machines and systems, including replacement of fuses, sensors, lamps, circuit breakers, and low-voltage components. * Read and interpret basic electrical diagrams and schematics, with support, to understand circuit and system functionality. * Support installation of electrical systems and electrical networks, panels, and electrical equipment. * Verify machine performance and carry out adjustments as needed. * Prepare technical reports on equipment failures and performance from daily activities and completed services, completing simple maintenance and equipment control reports. * Conduct basic electrical tests and measurements using simple equipment such as multimeters to measure voltage, current, and circuit continuity, ensuring proper operation of electrical components. * Assist in verifying that electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations, such as NR\-10, using appropriate PPE. * Actively participate in planning and executing medium-scale electrical projects, installation of new equipment, electrical networks, and automation systems. * Provide initial support during simple emergencies, such as replacing burnt-out components or identifying visible issues, always reporting faults to leadership. * Assist in organizing spare parts and tools, ensuring inventory availability for maintenance and repairs, and tracking equipment status. * Attend technical and safety training to develop skills and enhance knowledge of electrical systems, preparing for more advanced responsibilities in the future. * Interact with production operators and other technicians during shift changes to ensure continuous machine operation and meet production demands. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical education in Electrical or Electromechanical fields; no specialization or language proficiency required. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a maintenance electrician. * Knowledge of electrical diagrams, motors, electrical control panels, sensors, and PLCs. * Key skills and competencies include initiative and decision-making, communication and openness, teamwork, learning orientation, technical proficiency, commitment, and results orientation.
