We are seeking a Full Occupational Safety Technician to work at our Distribution Center in Cuiabá, supporting logistics operations related to the transportation, handling, and storage of steel parts/materials. This professional will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment, preventing accidents, and supporting the dissemination of safety culture across operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Conduct safety inspections in operational and administrative areas; * Monitor material handling, storage, and transportation activities; * Identify hazards and propose preventive and corrective actions; * Deliver safety training sessions, onboarding programs, and safety talks; * Control and monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE); * Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing reports and action plans; * Support compliance with applicable Regulatory Norms (NRs); * Monitor legal documents related to Occupational Safety; * Collaborate with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture; * Develop procedures and work instructions; * Participate in internal and external audits. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements** -------------- * Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety; * Active registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE); * Prior experience in logistics operations, distribution centers, freight carriers, industrial environments, or settings involving cargo handling; * Knowledge of Regulatory Norms (NRs), especially NR\-11, NR\-12, NR\-17, NR\-20, NR\-35, and NR\-06; * Experience conducting safety inspections, accident investigations, and safety training; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information** **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------- * Experience in operations involving steel storage and handling or heavy cargo; * Experience in large-scale logistics environments; * Knowledge of risk analysis tools and safety performance indicators. **Desired Competencies** -------------------------- * Proactivity; * Strong communication skills; * Sense of urgency; * Organization and attention to detail; * Ability to work onsite and alongside operational teams.
