As a Farmer Sales Executive, you will be the **commercial focal point for our clients**, overseeing end-to-end portfolio management: relationship management, governance, opportunity identification, renegotiations, and development of new projects. This role requires strong collaboration with operations and internal departments, demanding business acumen, organizational skills, and a consultative mindset. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Portfolio Management and Development (Farmer)** * Serve as the primary commercial interface for clients regarding import services, ensuring close relationships, frequent alignment, and account governance. * Ensure contract retention and renewal, proactively identifying churn risks and structuring action plans. * Develop **upsell and cross\-sell** opportunities, broadening scope and aligning client needs with group solutions and services. * Identify client requirements, propose improvements, and structure new projects using a consultative approach. * Conduct periodic meetings, account planning, and opportunity management. * Monitor satisfaction indicators (NPS/CSAT), handle complaints, and manage escalations. * Negotiate price adjustments, addendums, renewals, and commercial terms, adhering to internal policies. * Ensure proposal consistency and scope alignment with Operations and Delivery teams. **New Client Development (where applicable)** * Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, inbound leads, events, and market intelligence. * Maintain a new-client pipeline aligned with targets and commercial strategy. **In-Person Relationship Building and External Visits** * Conduct client visits for performance reviews, operational alignment, and relationship strengthening. * Map expansion opportunities (e.g., new trade lanes, products, routes, or services). * Support strategic meetings with decision-makers and user departments. * Document visit plans, meeting minutes, and next steps to ensure follow\-up and progression of the account plan. **Internal Collaboration and Information Management** * Collaborate closely with Operations and support departments to ensure service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. * Record and update information in the CRM (activities, opportunities, forecasts, and status). **Requirements and Qualifications** **Behavioral Competencies** * Strong commercial profile, with excellent communication skills and a long-term relationship focus. * Dynamism, sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple priorities. * Analytical mindset, data-driven, goal-oriented, and skilled at prioritization. * Negotiation ability and consultative engagement with clients. **Knowledge and Experience** * Proven experience in **international trade**, with emphasis on **import operations** (processes, documentation, timelines, and interdepartmental coordination). * Experience across the full customer service lifecycle and portfolio management. * Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency. * Preferred: Experience with Salesforce CRM. **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields (Logistics, Economics, International Relations, etc.). **Additional Information** Here, you are hired as a partner and never compromise on quality of life.
